Cliff was born and raised here in the panhandle near Lubbock, Texas. He is licensed by the State of Texas in Orthotics/prosthetics, Certified by the American Board of Orthotic and Prosthetic Certification and by the Board for Orthotic and Prosthetic Certification. He has been in this field since 1987. He branched off and began his own business here in Amarillo in 1990. His passion is in the challenge of meeting the needs of even the most difficult of situations. Cliff is continually seeking out and attending the most current and innovative techniques to assist his patients with their recovery and independence. He has vast experience with pediatrics and truly enjoys working with this group to better their quality of life. However young or old, small or great the challenge, it is his objective to bring value and quality to the patient and to promote independence.  He is an avid hunter, outdoorsman, golfer and family man.
Haylee Mahaffey.

Gene was born in Lamesa, Texas and graduated from Borden County High School in 1977. It was in 1988 that Gene’s life changed forever. He was involved in a motorcycle accident that took his leg and he became a below knee amputee. His passion to build prosthetics ignited during the process of having his new prosthetic built. His career began in 1992 as a prosthetic tech in Beaumont, Texas. In 1994, he took a position with Lubbock Orthotics and Prosthetics. After 12 years in Lubbock, he accepted a position with Mahaffey and moved to Amarillo. He is certified as an O&P assistant through the American Board of Orthotics and Prosthetics Certification. It is his passion helping people to walk again and has enjoyed 22 years of working with other amputees.

Jeff is from Borger, Texas and holds a Bachelor of Science from Wayland University in Molecular Biology.  He earned his Orthotist/Prosthetist Assistants License from the State of Texas in 2012. He plans to continue his education to become a Licensed Orthotic/Prosthetic practitioner. He enjoys hunting, fishing and recreational shooting and spending time with his family and friends. “My goal is to not only provide you with a corrective device, but to help restore your quality of life to the fullest. My achievements come from helping you achieve your goals, no matter how large or small. Plus a good laugh never hurt anyone.”
